The Bristol Channel Cutter by Lyle Hess Designer Lyle Hess thrived on the romance and functionality of boats that preserved the lines of British working sailboats. Some of these boats built over one hundred years ago, are still sailing today, a tribute to their owners and the all wood construction. The genius of Hess produced the Bristol Channel Cutter, the highly acclaimed world cruiser, known for both her traditional lines and sea-kindly sailing characteristics. The model for this famous design was Lin and Larry Pardey's "Taleisin" the boat hey sailed around the world. The boat that launched a thousand ships. A few sister-ship have been custom built. "Tigress". Is one of these, arguably the best Hess 30 in the world, a true show boat loaded with details singular only to "Tigress". The present owner has enjoyed this fine little ship for over seven years now and has found it is time to let a new captain enjoy her. "Tigress" is now available at a very attractive price. Incidentally, the name "Tigress" is beautifully hand carved in the teak transom, so you better like the name or you may have to replace the plank. Peruse the photos, check over the awesome specs and then come see "Tigress".
